Photo ci-joint

100% worth it
900 W Tira de Luz LED
I do residential and some commercial work however, I was fortunate enough to first test this product out in my own home. My hand sander blew on me so I hand sanded my kitchen and dinning which was a pain, so my family room being larger; encouraged me to buy this Sander. Pros: 1. They gave me enough sand paper during purchase to complete this entire room. Mind out, I started off with the 80 grit sanding panel glue down to skim coat over. Didn't feel like peeling it off with chemicals and what not. This was the only skipping this did from the pads getting caked up but the motor never paused the way a hand sander would. 2. It does have a bit of weight to it which was expected however the head swivel makes it manageable. Pretend you are sweeping the wall with a broom. Stand under it doing a ceiling, paying attention to what direction the neck bends. Don't over extend and it doesn't stutter, skip, stall or tilt. 3. With any sander there is still a bit of an exhaust when sanding however the suction capability is insidious. I didn't hook it up to my shop vac yet because I wanted to see how it did on its own. I know I will be a minimum of 88% dust free on any project with it hooked up as most of the dust comes out of the bag. Not sure if I could put a shop vac bag in side the the sander bag but it was still very nice design. 4. The LED is perfect, you sincerely can see everything. Cons: 1. Not sure if it's my wing spane or the placement of the grips, I am constantly adjusting my hand placement. Which is ok because in some areas you need a bit more pressure than others. This did add to the shoulder workout. 2. My only real con however ( and I noticed someone else mentioned this in a review before I purchased this); it was a small electrical surge felt while sanding. It was less equivalent than being shocked by someone's finger but I could tell it was there. The amount of power this commands I could see how especially if it's a grounding issue inside the motor against it's power draw. This makes the rubber grips make more sense. The only issue I had with this issue was riding past my hanging LED lights. It shorted one out. Luckily I have a replacement however it wasn't until it did that, that I confirmed the occasional surge felt. If this issue becomes any worse than a finger shock we may have to look at the wiring design however this was still very much so usable for me and I would suggest this product to others. Just be very cautious of how close the motor comes to any LED lighting. 4.1 out of 5 right now.

Great product if you don't mind ESD shocks
900 W Tira de Luz LED
I first want to say that overall I love the product; the amount of time it has saved has paid for itself multiple times. It is a workhorse that keeps going. I love the LED around the sander disk s well as the comfortable design. That being said, ESD (electroshock discharge) builds up from the dust and eventually shocks you. The 3 prong plug is properly grounded so that tells me it's a design issue. Additionally, don't bother using the dust bag because it's a mess to wear while using the sander and an even bigger pain to clean. Just busy a Shop-vac dust adapter kit from Rockwell and save yourself the frustration.

Decent Machine Takes some getting used to
900 W Tira de Luz LED
I guess with any new tool it takes some getting used to. I’m no stranger to sanding, polishing, buffing, refinishing. I’ve got experience in metalwork, machining, steel fabrication, paint snd body, among other things, but infrequent Sheetrock experience. That being said, the sander is physically awkward to me on first use. The balance seems off to me and it makes it difficult to judge how much or how little pressure you're applying to the sanding disc on the wall, but this may just be something requiring motor memory and will improve with use. I’ve only sanded walls at this time, but have to do ceilings soon and will try to remember to update. The vacuum system, one of the main reasons for purchase, does a great job. It’s much cleaner than the screen type sanding method that inundates you with dust, which is great because it should also save considerable time when sanding. In all honesty, with me standing at 6’4”, I probably would have been as well or even better off if I had just the head unit aspect without the pole attachment like a vehicle buffer, and that may be why it’s awkward for me to use. I got the self-priming version, thinking it was the brushless version, but it is not. I doubt I’ll use this enough to burn through brushes anytime soon, but the motor is incredibly loud and makes an annoying and loud tapping or crackling type noise that’s loud enough to warrant hearing protection while using. Other than that, it seems to be of sound manufacture, especially at its price point. Like any “imported” device, the operators manual is left wanting, with poor illegible illustrations and scant descriptions, and the whole right to left translation to left to right seems to further complicate things, but I’ve seen worse and most of what’s missing or confusing you can figure out on your own. That’s about all the feedback I can currently provide given that I’ve only had a day to familiarize myself with it. If it lasts through and completes the current project I’m on, I’ll consider it breaking even on purchase, because it is ready to use out of the box -PPE equipment. It certainly beats hand sanding some of my Sheetrock work, that’s for sure.

Good product
900 W Tira de Luz LED
This makes it so much easier to sand drywall. I was not happy with the bag for the dust. When I put it over my shoulder and used the sander it would turn upside down and stop collecting the dust. I connected my small shop vac to it and it would plug the filter quickly. Other than that I am very glad that I purchased it.
