This is a pretty cheaply made product but having an ice maker at home is pure luxury. If you want restaurant style drinks at home, and hate refrigerator ice as much as I do, then this little machine could be a good option. I bought this one because it fit into the opening of the sunken bar of my midcentury home. One thing that is not made clear is that you NEED a floor drain, fortunately I was able to put one in. Secondly the parts (water filter, connectors; etc.) are CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! You will likely need to buy new parts to attach or hire a professional to properly install them. The drainage hose will require a hose clamp at bare minimum. The plastic hose is so cheap, I would also highly recommend replacing it unless it's outside or somewhere water would damage the floor. The "water filter" seems like an empty plastic bottle. Also the plastic tubing provided is very unlikely to be BPA free. Plan on doing a little retrofitting if you do buy this.

I bought this ice machine in order to fulfill the needs of a bar in a very small hotel with no serious needs in ice. The ice produced by the machine is more than enough BUT... The ice cubes are so small that they melt almost immediately in the drink, the ice maker has no function to make them bigger or more condensed so they are almost useless for any business that would use so bulky machinery. It was a huge waste of money, totaly dissatisfied, i dont even understand the purpose of this ice maker, it is too big for a house and completely useless for professional use. Dont buy it!

Don’t do it ! Less than a year with little use the machine stopped dropping ice. My understanding this a fairly common issue. Contacted Vevor , after a little back and forth stuff they decided it was ok to offer me 20.00 yes 20$ to get it fixed myself ! There is a variety of problems with that as I hope you can see. Main one is no one in my area to work on such things that I’m aware of. If it wa used often and had a couple years on it I might understand. It was used on 6 weekend camping trips ! There are a lot of options out there don’t chance this one or the unreasonable company to back the product ! Picture ( if it downloads) shows the big chunk of ice I get after the machine sits for 2 hours and starts to thaw ! Never mind won’t load and I have put too much time into this already.

It would have been nice to know this machine does not store ice. It says it does, but the compartment is not refrigerated, so the ice begins to melt as soon as it is made. For my home bar, it is useless.

Abbiamo preso questo fabbricatore del ghiaccio che non ha mai funzionato (in 6 mesi di vita avrà funzionato 45 giorni!) fin dal suo arrivo la pompa non andava bene. Poi un bel giorno a settembre del 2025) non ha più funzionato non abbiamo mai ricevuto un'assistenza valida, efficiente: che risolva i problemi davvero pessimo servizio, pessimo prodotto. Spero di aver ben reso l'idea

Peace of junk don't ever buy one of these from Vevor. Broke down on me in the first year of ownership and Vevor would not back up this product. They left me hi and dry. Very poor customer service.
