Very heavy (28 lbs), but cooks pizzas excellent with a crispy brown bottom. Since it is nearly the same size as my convection oven there no possibility that the pizza will slide off when putting it into the oven.

I was about to get a pizza stone but hearing that they could crack I decided to try the pizza steel and found this one on Vevor. It took a few tries to find the right height to position it in my oven but now it just browns and crisps the crust while cooking the cheese and toppings at the same time. I have recommended this steel to my family and friends as it has worked great in my oven.

The unit arrived preseasoned and perfectly packaged. The quality is shockingly good in that a 3/8” steel of this size from other manufacturers would cost three times as much if not more. A pizza steel is a simple thing but the thicker the better for pizza and this is the best that money can buy whilst still being able to lift and handle the product as it is incredibly heavy. This unit shipped to your house costs as much as the shipping charge alone on similar products. Must buy for the home pizza chef.

Eigenlijk is de plaat net iets te breed voor mijn standaard oven, maar met een beetje manoeuvreren past die net. Ik heb die 3/8 inch gekocht, die is best zwaar, 11 kg. Ik denk dat de 1/4 inch net zo warm wordt en misschien iets makkelijker te gebruiken is. Verder zijn de pizza's en baguettes die hier vanaf komen heel goed, lekker krokante bodem binnen 5-10 minuten op 250 graden. Dat lukte me niet op een pizzasteen die ik elders had gekocht

Best thickness and value for price anywhere I checked. Very happy. Way better than a pizza stone and gives you beautiful leopard print on the bottom of your pizza. Highly recommend.

I put a light coating of avocado oil on it to season it. Smoked very badly. I recommend washing it and trying to use it as-is.

After just two uses, and sitting in my oven, the rest of the time the plate is 50% rusted. I tried to upload an image, but Vevor doesn’t let you upload from your iPhone.
