Bought this for my husband to use with our mower. It has definitely made his life easier when it’s time to change the blades on the mower. Only thing he did not like was the hooks for hanging it aren’t very big.

Works as its suppose to. Only negative i can say is that the safety stop doesn't work. Kinda a big thing in my eyes as its plugged is hard to get to and in an emergency situation I wouldnt be able to get to the plug in time to shut off. Will need to open pendant and figure out what's going on.

On time, all components intact, solid build. Under load with the snatch block you need to be cautious of the spooling left to right as it tends to bunch up. For my purpose, lifting a RTT off of an replacing it onto and SUV from a garage ceiling, could not do better.

The unit arrived in a timely manner. Set-up took a bit of effort. The mounting brackets on the top do not come installed and 1 of the 4 bolt holes milled into the top was not threaded properly so I had to get a self-threading screw of the same size to get it started. Also, the hook in my unit was place inside the unit and you could not get it out (which you need to use the unit) without removing the top of the unit which requires the correct sized hex key. The cable also had a ridiculous amount of sticky tape on it holding it in place for shipping that took a good 15 minutes to remove. Once all these minor QC/set-up issues were resolved, the unit worked great for what I got it for (lifting 300lb Lithium iron batteries out of their boxes and into their set-up location). BE VERY careful about mounting in a safe way. I nearly had a serious injury when one of my connection points gave way and the unit crashed down.

I like the hoist. Installation was easy. I used a 2 x 2 which is fine for my application of lifting items, mostely in tubs, up to the attic. I would like to get 2 more of these to lift a Flycraft raft to the ceiling. I noticed the instructions state that the hoise cannot hold anything suspended for a long period of time. Too bad because that would be a great use for these little hoists.

Easy to use ,well made . Install under my roof . Easy to lift my tires on a shelf . The price isfair. Shipping is really fast and reliable.

Mounting nuts were not welded on very well and fell off. Just get yourself some new bolts and mount it that way. Overall, great product for the price. Worked great for hanging deer.
