This is an excellent value compared to the well known brands. I was told by customer service that this specific model EB-1550 would press pex, but if does not (I think the product details have been cleaned up since winter/spring 26). I’ve used it for pressing copper fittings on water heater swaps and it has been great. I ordered a Pex A expansion kit today since it seems to be the most cost effective solution to running pex for this specific remodel (the reason I bought the 1550). Buy the tool for pressing metal fittings(I can’t imagine you’ll regret it), just don’t expect it to work with pex!!

This machine works perfect. It works with the Milwaukee feedings so if you need gas feedings or any type of fittings, you just buy the Milwaukee ones it doesn’t fit perfect and

This is the best pro press tool for the buck out there on the market. I have nothing negative to say about it. I’ve used it on at least 12 jobs already and it works wonderful.

Very impressed with this tool and how well it works. Only difference I notice between this tool and other brand name propress tools is it’s a longer press. I actually find this tool lighter than other name brand models. So far I’ve pressed up to 1 1/2” with no issues! The only question at this point is will it stand the test of time? If it breaks down is it serviceable? If I need o-ring kits in the future will I be able to get them? Can they sell the tool only if i already have the jaws? I guess we’ll see!

This is a heavy tool but powerful. The gun shape makes it easier to control than the stick shape for one hand operations. The carry case is nicely arranged but with the large jaw set, it's easier to transport on a hand truck. The lithium batteries ensure they are still charged during long intervals of storage. I use it for copper press water fittings and RLS refrigeration fitting press fittings. Very happy. The price makes it very affordable.
