A little noisy but compared to other tumblers it isn’t bad. Works great for polishing metals. I use it on sand cast pieces and it cleans and polishes them up nicely. Saves me time and hassle of using a brush to get the sand out.

The unit works well on steel and stainless steel. I run it through two hours of rotation one hour at a time and it does make the item sparkle. I noticed that I have to buy more polishing pins because some of the parts get magnified and when I take the finished items out, they also pull out some of the pins but overall I think it’s a good machine. I’m not so sure about how it reacts to gold, which is much softer it makes it pit.

This item looks very similar to others of the same nature, and they may in fact be similar to ones with different branding. This specific one works well, and after a few weeks of use I think it's a pretty decent product for the price. Seems durable, easy to use, and easy to clean. Not made of cheap plastic but I anticipate the bowl to show more wear and get less clear as time goes by.

Bought to finish a large run of custom engraved coins I did a ways back before aging, worth every penny. The amount of time it saves over hand finishing each coin or piece is incredible, even after really getting better with finishing pass settings with my current laser. I will say it's certainly not quiet, but that's to be expected with any metal finishing machine; it's not super loud in tge grand scheme of things. Does get a bit warmer than I'd like, but is still working after a year. I've had no issues with pins rusting, perhaps others are mistaking brass particulate from finishing brass as rust? You'll need to rinse the pins of course after using, but that's about all the maintenance I've had to do. Doesn't effectively fit items larger than about 2 inches in diameter, and even 2 inch squares are a bit iffy as they don't move around super well with the corners, but that's a product of the items capacity, not a defective.

Since this is my first magnetic polisher, I don't have experience with others for comparison, but in short: Great value for the price and it works as expected. I like the ability to run itd cooling fans after use, before unplugging. The vibration dampened feet are great and anchor it well to the table. Don't trust the water level markings, because the amount of rise depends heavily upon how much shinebrite or additive, volume of pieces being polished, and shapes. If you're not careful, you'll find that water and foam will easily get past the lid and escape. I don't know if other models have tighter fitting lids, but that would make me feel safer turning my back on it for an extended period.
