Bought to finish a large run of custom engraved coins I did a ways back before aging, worth every penny. The amount of time it saves over hand finishing each coin or piece is incredible, even after really getting better with finishing pass settings with my current laser. I will say it's certainly not quiet, but that's to be expected with any metal finishing machine; it's not super loud in tge grand scheme of things. Does get a bit warmer than I'd like, but is still working after a year. I've had no issues with pins rusting, perhaps others are mistaking brass particulate from finishing brass as rust? You'll need to rinse the pins of course after using, but that's about all the maintenance I've had to do. Doesn't effectively fit items larger than about 2 inches in diameter, and even 2 inch squares are a bit iffy as they don't move around super well with the corners, but that's a product of the items capacity, not a defective.

I am very happy with this piece of equipment. I've been making silver filigree jewelry for about 25 years and this machine has made my polishing process much much easier. I highly recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

Its simple to use comes with a bag of pins to start off with , i use it almost everyday and i actually love it

Since this is my first magnetic polisher, I don't have experience with others for comparison, but in short: Great value for the price and it works as expected. I like the ability to run itd cooling fans after use, before unplugging. The vibration dampened feet are great and anchor it well to the table. Don't trust the water level markings, because the amount of rise depends heavily upon how much shinebrite or additive, volume of pieces being polished, and shapes. If you're not careful, you'll find that water and foam will easily get past the lid and escape. I don't know if other models have tighter fitting lids, but that would make me feel safer turning my back on it for an extended period.
