Very nice bit of kit. Seems well made and works very smoothly. I was a bit worried to read that the magnet needed 15mm thick plate to stick well. I think this is caution on the part of Vevor. In practice I am finding 6mm plate provides plenty of force, I am not pushing the drilling though and so far only 15mm holes, but I imagine that if I did push it, I could pop it off. So I wont:) A small nitpick is the ergonomics of the switches, a bit awkward to use and wearing gloves I find I brush and alter the speed control turning the mag on. Of course I don't notice until I start the drill and first time I thought the bloody thing had died on me already. Soon got used to it tho'. And essential to use good water based cutting fluid to protect the cutter.

Came is short order. Well packaged. Works great. An excellent addition to my shop. Works great.

Only made 3 holes as of yet. It works fine as long as the metal is thick enough, if it's 2mm or less the magnet won't hold a good grip and it may move the drill when beginning the cut. One thing is the drill won't stay in position if you let go of the "wheel". It will drop down. No other problems so far.

This drill performed well on thick 3/8 inch steel plate. The magnet held firm and the annular bits cut through easily. The magnet struggled to maintain a firm grip on thinner/painted steel sheet metal allowing the bit to walk when initiating the cut. I had to drill pilot holes to allow the center pin to act as a stabilizer but ultimately the bits made quick work of the thin metal. Overall I pleased with the product. Will be purchasing a larger selections of bits in the near future.

The drill worked great but the magnet a little weak. Still love the drill!
