Hooked up again
Rojo & Azul 3/4 pulgadas
Was affordable came quickly and works great. The only downside was the screw type hose clamps that came with it. The red and blue colors mark the hot and cold lines for easy reference.

Good price and worked as expected. It was cheap enough that we felt comfortable home running everything to a manifold.

What can I say, it's pipe.

I'm using the blue for the unpressurized sections of the fresh water system on my sailboat refit project. I'm using the red for the pressurized side of the system downstream of the pump.

Defects Causing Weak Spots Are Concerning
Blanco 3/4 pulgadas
Purchased in July '26. This was used for the main run for my northern Michigan property. I was installing this PEX-A because of its cold weather rating. It can easily reach -15° below zero and I needed a rating to handle the cold without bursting. Unfortunately I encountered a 3-4" inch imperfection in the product that would be the obvious weak spot in the run. I did not want to splice it. The entire reason for running the line was to eliminate splicing which can fail. It would be way too much work to remove the line and return it. Very disappointed with the product. I've got over $1,500 into the project and untold man hours. Now I have to wonder about a burst water line every spring when I return from Florida.

I strongly suggest buying name brand pipe. This pipe is far too stiff to be manageable. You will be fighting it every step of the way.

Every time I try to expand it splits, I think it's actually pex b.. on the pipe it just says pex .. works fine with pex b fittings, but I wanted pex a, that's why I bought pex a. 3/4 inch seems to work fine...

Inferior tubing
Rojo & Azul 3/4 pulgadas
This pex-a tubing appears to be a inferior product. It is very stiff, which appears to create two issues. Since it is so stiff, it doesn't like to uncoil and, consequently, it creates a wavy supply line run. Second, during the expansion process, stretch marks occasionally appeared. Those stretch marks turned out to be leaks as it creates a raised area within the pipe. Something is not right with the mfg process for this pex-a tubing.
