solid design, have found them to be stable on unstable/unlevel surfaces, dirt or concrete cracked over time. the adjustments are fine, and hold with repeated loading and unloading of work materials. my only thoughts, and give this thought, if you need 8, get 8, i needed six and bought less, had to buy twice to get what i need. one last thought, when i'm working materials, i'm not concerned with the stability of the work piece or my safety having them. that last point is why i have recommended them to some folks who need something safe

I bought these to aid in cutting 2 7/8 oil field pipe for building corral. They are very study and well built and much cheaper than local store. I will.be purchasing two more int the near future.

Bought 5 stands from Vevor and 1 from another company. The Vevor stands were almost identical to the other BUT didn't have the clips to capture the threaded portion of the stand. Still works but not handy when carrying or raising the slide in portion. The Vevor stands all had the ears to capture the threaded portion. Easy to carry and adjust/ raise.
