Bien c'est la note pour une enclume qui semble correcte. Un peu de customisation nécessaire, ébavurage des trous, ébavurage des angles. Une enclume brute que l'on aime à customiser. La disqueuse va parler pour casser les arêtes vives et faire une arête arrondie. Les 30 Kg sont bien là et c'est du plein !!! Test à froid avec un rond 5 mm inox 304, ça marque l'angle mais c'est une enclume et ça aime l'acier rouge !!! "Si tu fais du bruit, c'est que ton fer est trop froid."

I acquired a new 165 lb (75 Kg) Peddinghaus anvil a while back, which is a "premium" new anvil. What many might not understand (or want to admit) is that an anvil like a new Peddinghaus isn't something you want kids or adult beginners to beat on. And everyone always wants to beat on the anvil, which is why I bought this one for them to start with instead. If you haven't beat on an anvil before, this Vevor 66 lb seems to be perfect in every way. The price is excellent. "Unskilled" dents and dings to it won't hurt anyone's (my) feelings. The weight is convenient to deal with -- heavy, but not too heavy. It has a great standard shape with the right holes in the right spots. The base doesn't look funny. Actually, the base is about the same shape as the Peddinghaus anvils, as I was able to fit this in the old routed-out home-made Peddinghaus stand I have with a very minor adjustment. I cannot find anything to complain about with this anvil for this price. Unless there is some hidden flaw I haven't encountered yet, it is a perfect new anvil for the price. I do not think there is a better option in this price range, unless you can find a used one, which is difficult. As far as performance, I haven't had enough time to beat on it to say for sure, but in comparison to the Peddinghaus, a 1" steel ball bearing does not bounce quite as vigorously on this Vevor, which shall shock no one. However, honestly, it does bounce pretty good. It does not "ring" nearly as loudly as the Peddinghaus. Again, no shock, but at least the Vevor rings a little -- it is not dead. It is not a bad anvil, it just isn't "premium", and there is nothing wrong with that, depending on the mission. It is less than a tenth of the price of a new 165 lb Peddinghaus, so expectations should scale appropriately, and if your mission is to have a solid anvil to beat on and get stuff done, without spending a lot of money on a precious object, then this is that anvil. Again, for the price, it seems to be perfect so

Anvil is as described. Mounted, it works perfectly with you and gives good spring back to the hammer and is "quiet". Definitely worth the money...

Great little anvil, excellent value. Read all the reviews, looked up all the videos online, and was very happy when the anvil arrived, exactly as expected. After giving it a good dressing, I went right to work on it, and it was a joy to work with. Hammer springs right back. Lovely working surface. If I don't wear it to pieces, this will be an heirloom anvil. Sure, you can spend more for better, but if you are just scraping enough cash to get an anvil and this is just in your reach? Go for it. You'll have a working anvil that won't cause you problems. I'd honestly prefer this over a sketching second hand/"antique" anvil at this price point.

This anvil is a brilliant size, not so heavy that it cant be moved and very solid and able to stand the pounding in which it is made for. I like it because of the good rounded horn, the hardy hole and solid base. I reccomend it

I purchased this to check out the quality. I am starting a basic blacksmith class for youth next summer and will need several anvils for the class. Bottom line… I found what I will use. I plan on buying several more for students to use in class. The price vs quality is unmatched. If you need a travel anvil for shows or just a spare, I highly recommend this little anvil.

Great little anvil for the price and seems to be of good quality, happy with my purchase! Anvil works well with my needs, and seems to absorb work blows well.
