Received in a nice crate. I disassembled the carriage and cross slide and ran them through my ultrasonic cleaner, it is a must to clean it first. Waiting on tooling because of a postal delay so haven’t cut with it yet. However I put mitutoyo indicators on it an a piece of steel round bar….. the run out was less than .001 more like .0005 so I am extremely happy with that! Great price looking forward to having fun with it!
EDIT: I have cut some 12L14 which obviously gave beautiful surface finish. The 1045 I’ve cut and drilled was still pretty darn good as this is my first lathe. Overall very happy.
