Duane Hall Great shear. Very robust, and it works great.

I'm very impressed with the abilities of this shear. I haven't tried 1/4" stuff (I'm pretty sure it would struggle) but for 1/16" to 1/8" it works great. It definitely needs to be bolted down to work properly (That seems kinda obvious, but there may be some who try it without) with a little care in handling the part being sheared you can do some amazing cuts with this.

I bought this cutter because cutting copper with shears hurts my arthritic fingers too much. The unit is a bit wobbly in the handle and blade adjustment, though easy enough to remedy with some shims. Must definitely be anchored to a solid surface, though I had to detach the blade section to access bolt holes for mounting. I've not bee able to get the blade adjusted perfectly since then. All-in-all, it is helpful for cutting and trimming thicker copper and brass sheet.

It’s a great product for cutting mild metals or what I am using it for is plastic. Cuts straight lines. The end of the ruler the have in the cutting board needs to be fixed to the cutting board besides that everything else is fine.
