My dehumidifier worked great all summer but now that it is fall I've found that the compressor shuts off before the target humidity level is reached. The water droplet also keeps blinking. I tried just unplugging it overnight, but the same thing happens when I plug it back in and reset the target humidity. In the attached video the target was set at 45%. The compressor finally kicked back on and the water droplet becomes solid at 49%. Is this supposed to happen? Is it due to the cooler temp inside my house?

Lots here for the price. When I initially set it up, I could not get the water to drain through the hose. After fiddling with it for several days between bucket emptying, it finally started draining into my sump pit the way it should. I haven't a clue what changed. Then it worked perfectly for several months - keeping my basement at a steady 48 to 50% humidity level. But now I cannot get the humidity below 58%. It appears it is no longer working, and if it is, it definitely is not working as it should.

Works great only issue is having to empty to many times as I cannot set it up with a drain hose inside my home. I will purchase the 80 pint unit once I finish paying for this 35 pint unit which actually only holds at max 1.5 gallons so make sure you google exactly how much water the dehumidifier actually will hold in the reservoir. It also actually only dehumidifies approximately 24 pints in a 24 hour period & not 35 pints as the description states. I know this for a fact because I empty it 1 time in the morning & 1 time at night which equals 3 gallins or 24 pints.

When I received my 80 pint dehumidifier the box was crushed bad but I do not think it caused any damage to the product. When I unboxed my 80 pint dehumidifier & opened the back door to check the filter I was very disappointed to say the very least. There was absolutely no filter at all inside the unit & the aluminum fins on the evaporator coil were damaged. There is no way possible the evaporator coil could have been damaged during the shipping process because it is located inside the plastic housing of the unit. The 80 pint dehumidifier that I received looks like a used unit that was returned since the filter was missing & it had a damaged evaporator coil the day I unboxed the unit. I have contacted Vevor customer support & sent them pictures of the damaged unit & the only thing they keep saying is the technical support is reviewing the situation. That is 100% ridiculous & absolutely unprofessional in everyway. How long does it take a person to look at the photos of a damaged product that is also missing the filter. It is impossible for a unit that has an evaporator coil to operate without a filter. It would suck in all the dust, dirt & animal hair into the evaporator coil without a filter causing it to get totally plugged up & cause the unit in turn to burn up due to lack if air flow. This has been the worst possible transaction & experience I have had with Vevor & I truly do not understand why they have not sent a replacement for the damaged unit & a return lablel as well. Unfortunately it looks like I am going to have to contact my bank & Klarna & report this entire situation. This transaction is one of the worst I have experienced with any company & not just because they sent me a used unit but even more so in how they have dragged their feet resolving the 80 pint used, damaged & parts missing dehumidifier that was sent to me. I will do whatever it takes to protect my hard earned money with every ounce of my being.

Slow working. Issues with the drain hose. Only runs max 24 hours and has to be reset.

This dehumidifier is too small for my needs. I didn’t expect it to be this inadequate. The drain hose is extremely short, so you’ll need to purchase an additional hose unless your drain or sink is located right next to the dehumidifier. While it effectively removes moisture from the air, that’s not the main issue. I have to go down to my basement twice a day to empty the water from the unit.

Not very happy with it. Control panel buttons seem of center. When attempting to adjust the settings it doesn't work. Very frustrating.

Worked great for a month then it’s completely stopped producing water. It’s failed somehow. Still turns on and runs and gives high humidity values on the display but after 24 hours of running it never brings the moisture down.

I bought a 60pt by pelonis. Its nearly twice as big as this "80 pint" and removes twice as much water from the air. I wrote customer service there's no convincing them. Were stuck with a 40pint labeled an 80 pint. Product works well for a 40 pint but the price is the same as all the other 40pints on the market. Should have just bought another 60 pint from pelonis. Not very happy with vevor havent bought anything more since.
