Out of control when spinning with frames. Not very stable when spinning. Price is good compared to other brands.

It was a good machine for a small honey harvester. I used it two seasons, harvested around 400lbs of honey and the leg weld broke. Ihad it bolted to the floor and did my best to be careful amd easy with it. The legs are not attached well at all. AND when I originally looked at the product the advert was misleading because the legs LOOK like the bolt on. It was decent for $125. I wouldn't buy it again though.

je regrette de ne pas avoir pu prendre le 4 cadre car il ne prenait que les cadre de 155mm,pour 8 mm le cadre ne passe pas (Dadant il fait 160mm),faute d'explication précise. celui que j'ai pris les cadres 48x16mm passe .(extracteur 3 cadre)

For a first extractor, this one is not bad at all and very easy to use. You do have to work with it quite a bit to get it stable and wind up the frames slowly to keep everything in balance, but for a first piece of equipment it did just fine.

The gate valve on this unit is sloppy does not fit. Well, will have to buy another gate valve if you buy this item. And? That will cost anywhere from 9 to $14.

It functions well so far but the lid does not attach and when spinning, the frames sometimes hit the lid as it's moving around unless I held it with my free hand and that was hard to do! I'm not sure if there's something missing or not. Seems like the lid should be attached on hinges. Also, there's no brake

Our frames are from standard Langstroth hives. They fit into the extractor's baskets but the top of the frames is held just high enough that it strikes the bolts and frame hanging from the extractor's bracket that holds the handle with the spinning mechanism. Approximately 3/4" too high. One can create spacers that hold the frame out from the side of the cage so the frame doesn't strike the extractor but if the spacers slip then the frame will fall back while spinning and strike the extractor and damage the extractor, probably permanently. We tried lowering the basket by lowering the axle but that appeared to make the mechanism less stable.

ik heb deze door omstandigheden pas dit weekend voor de eerste maal gebruikt. de poten komen los bij het slingeren en het slingeren zelf kost veel moeite ik zou hier toch graag een compensatie of zo voor ontvangen.
