Amazing little machine had a couple hiccups, but as soon as you figure out the fine tuning. You’ll have no problems with it and you’ll understand how it works. I recommend this to anyone that wants to strip wire.

This review is based on a little over a month of ownership. It has had a good workout in one month. Ive processed a good amount of wire on it and my friends have done the same. Ive had a wide variety of wire on it also, old and new as to figure out best procedures, as the depth of cut will determine how easy the insulation will remove. It took some adjusting of the tension knobs and learning which hole had the right tension on the cut as stranded wire can turn into a mess with too deep of a cut. When you get comfortable with the types of wire you are cutting, this machine is amazing! A regular solid strand 12awg wire will peel off like butter. I and my friends who have used this are impressed at the ease of stripping all types of wire. Just plan on playing with the adjustments, knowledge of the best cut then it will go smooth. Have a utility knife and any kind of wire cutters on hand while working and your be good. I love the clear front to see the wire hit the blade correctly. This unit seems really well built also. I attached my machine to a stainless table with locking castors that was formerly used to process during hunting season and it works great.

It has worked pretty good since I got it this week. Works fantastic with sold wire. Stranded is a little more difficult. It makes a mess when peeling insulation off. Overall, it works as advertised. Great for the money.
