Everything internally is plastic. The belt inside looks like a zip tie. I've only had it about a month and i've used it a handful of times. It has jammed a couple times. For 75$ if it lasts 2-3 seasons, I would say it was worth it. I doubt it's going to last that long.

I am updating my review. Of the 4 I own, 2 have failed. They do not get used that much but the spring or retrack mechanism seemed to 'let go', when the hose was about 50% extended I heard a bump, bump, bump sound like a spring released. Now it only retracts about half way.

Seems cheap. Stiff hose, leaking o ring after short time use, low quality feeling. For the price you can get a better product. Usually VEVOR is good but this is not.

Very poor quality,, bought 2 years ago and stored in side in winter and the retractable hose wont go back in

Received this as a Christmas gift and installed it this week after our driveway was completed. Very disappointing as there isn't any pressure. Pressure at the faucet is strong, but the hose pressure is terrible.

The hose and reel seem like good quality. The extra handle works well. I have a competitors reel for my backyard and I must say the retraction on this is painful. I understand having a slow retraction so the hose and handle don’t slam into anything, but I have to guide the hose back by hand otherwise the retraction stops completely. I looked at the instructions and insured that the water was turned off and open on the end so less water is in the reel. Doesn’t make a difference. Still a very slow retraction where I have to guide it back.

Worked great for a while then tension got very weak and then the spring broke, so no way of recoiling the hose.

Order was received without the mounting hardware. I immediately contacted customer support. After four emails that said absolutely nothing, I was notified that my ticket was going to be auto closed, and marked as solved. I can't try the product, because Vevor wont fix the issue of not sending the mounting hardware. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

It’s a piece of Chinese junk, not as it’s described it has a cheap plastic mounting bracket the hose is very cheap and it’s supposed to be 84ft it’s not even 50ft. And when you try to contact the customer service there is no phone number where to call, the only way to contact them is by messages through the website or the app, And when you contact them about the issue you will get a generic answer like this one (Vevor Customer Service Dear Customer, Thank you for your letter. We take your concerns seriously and are actively working to resolve them. Currently, we are urgently analyzing your situation and will provide a response and assistance as soon as possible. Best regards, VEVOR) And you will wait forever no more response from them, then you will try to contact them again, and you will receive almost the same response, that ask you to keep waiting, and it doesn’t matter how mush messages you send you will get the same response asking you to keep waiting. until you understand that it’s a big scam and you are stuck with your junky purchase no support no return. stay away from them save your money and your time, because what ever you buy from them it will be a final sell with no support and no return options. Be aware they are Chinese scammers.

Unscrew the nozzle it came with and put in the other in the box and the end of the hose came lose and now it is stuck on there and I cannot screw it off. It also leaks. So I am going to have to cut the end off and put and new end on it and try to get the other end out of the nozzle that it’s stuck in
