Easy to setup and use. It is slow, read some others talk about a couple hours. Took me 20 hours to lower temp of water in cold plunge ~130 gallons 19 degrees from 72 to 53. It is inside house set to 73. I tracked it hourly and averaged right at one degree per hour. Measuring outlet, it was typically 1-1.5 less than inlet. Heck of a lot better than ice. Once it gets to temperature it shuts off but pump continuously circulates. I’d prefer it shut off as well since it is pulling water out of insulated environment. I might try a timer as the unit recalls set temperatures when powered off. Temperature was pretty accurate by the way. Really no complaints so far and paid 100s less than advertised cold plunge chillers. Puts off a lot of heat on initial chill indoors but then it really only runs every few hours and hardly noticeable. Shuts off when reaching set temperature and comes back on when water rises 2 degrees. Maybe that’s why pump runs constantly so it knows water temperature. I insulated the hoses to reduce heat loss. Would buy again.

The chiller works. It’s loud when on but that is to be expected. What I did not expect was how horribly loud and large the pump that goes in the aquarium is. I wish I realized I could just hook the chiller up to my canister filter right away because the pump is so loud it scares my axolotl and vibrates the whole 40 gallon aquarium and I can hear it in the other room. If I didn’t have the option of ditching the pump and using the canister, I don’t know what I would do. My advice, don’t buy this unless you have another option to move the water through the chiller. The included pump is trash. Now I have to buy more tubing, but at least I figured out a work around.

Easy to setup and connect. I'm in south florida where it's warm so it hasn't been able to get the temperature below 59 degrees. The water pump failed after 6 days but they're sending a new replacement.

I bought this for my 40 gallon reservoir, I obviously bought bigger than necessary. It maintains temperature well, it does take longer than expected to chill there water from around 74 degrees, down 63 degrees. I am glad I bought bigger for that reason, I usually throw some ice in to help it chill quicker. All in all it is the best purchase I made for my setup, I just wish it worked quicker, but I worked around it. Unit does generate an decent amount of heat, so make sure you place the unit in a space you don't mind it heating up. I'd say noise is comparable to a portable ac unit, dehumidifier, any small appliances like that, you can hear it when next to it, but wouldn't keep you awake.

So far, the unit has been working well with not issues to speak of. I am using it for cooling a hydroponic water reservoir (32gallon brute garbage can drain to waste) running off 400watts of solar on a timer from 10am-sunset. The unit does remember the previous temperature setting which is great so I can pretty leave it unattended between adding water/nutrients. On the first day the front cover came loose, but I carefully removed re-attached and the power cord pulled out a bit from the rubber fitting on the unit showing the insulated wire, but I pushed back in, so I suggest handling with care.

Der Kühler funktioniert einwandfrei und ist wirklich ein sehr gutes Gerät. Die Pumpe lief bisher sehr leise. Jetzt ist sie leider sehr laut. Habe die Pumpe natürlich komplett gereinigt, aber trotzdem bleibt sie sehr unangenehm laut. Habe dafür eine andere Pumpe gekauft.

Ich habe das Gerät gekauft, Installation und Einrichtung war einfach. Jetzt ist vermutlich der Temperatursensor defekt, da es immer die gleiche Temperatur anzeigt. Ich Habe seid einer Woche versucht eine Lösung für das Problem zu finden und ständig Kontakt mit Support gehabt. Ich werde jedesmal vertröstet und sie leiten es sofort an die Technik Abteilung weiter und diese melden sich dann bei mir. Es erfolgt nichts. Meinen Tieren haben ständig zu warmes Wasser und dann ich kühle wieder mit Ständer Gen Wasserwechsel

Unit failed to cool water even with proper pump, plumbing, and airflow. Temperature continued rising instead of stabilizing.

Unit stopped working after a week and support has done nothing to help. Only response was asking me to describe and send videos. I repeated the issues on the support request that was in the original support request and attached photos and videos. No response. Opened a second ticket. No response. They are not honoring their warranty and I am having g to file a bank dispute for the $1000 I spent.
