Price: I got mine 4/8 frame unit for $250. I was skeptical before ordering, but gave it a shot as my extraction window was closing quickly... I ran 10 frames through the thing and it did fairly well! At least as good as the other big-name extractors I have used. It does appear to be pretty thin and I don't expect it will take a lot of abuse, but neither would any other brand? I think it was a great value for the price, and am looking forward to next years honey season.

Extractor works well - only problem is one side of flip up lid does not rest on the barrel as it should.

Overall, I recommend this spinner. Made much quicker work of things for my husband and I. Some quibbles: the hardware is shoddy. We had to take the bolt and wing nut from the gate to a local hardware store to run a die on it as it would not work properly. The hardware on plastic lids (preassembled) was on on the wrong side, which I found out only after I screwed in 12 tiny bolts. Also, the legs need to be at least one guage thicker. All of that said, we think it's of good quality for the price. Overall we are glad we have it.

It was a little wobbly until we had 8 frames of honey extracted in the bottom. From then on it was golden and did a wonderful job. It was easy to clean. Great value.

It works. It does what it is supposed to do. Needs to be a larger diameter. Medium frames fit, but not without fussing with them. For the price point, it does a fair job. Vevor, in my opinion, could improve their sales by offering a 10 to 12 frame extractor. This 4/8 frame extractor is fine for the hobby beekeeper with no more than 10 hives. Would I buy it again? As a gift to a new beekeeper, Yes. For myself? The answer is, No. I'm afraid it could not keep up with 40 plus hives. If you purchase this, be sure to place a 2x4 block of wood under the back leg, to get the honey to run towards the honey gate on the front. It does run very quiet if it is properly balanced when loaded.

Bonne machine dans l'ensemble. Excepté le bouchon de vidange que j'ai du bricoler pour pouvoir le visser car le pas de vis n'était pas assez long. J'ai dû en acheter un autre mais que je vais devoir reprendre aussi a cause du diamètre qui doit être dans une mesure spéciale. Manque inverseur.

Arrived without delays, packed professionally. The hinges are designed for countersink bolts, however flat head bolts were supplied. The electric circuit cover was screwed on top of one of the hinges so I had to remove to and correct. The metal bracket on which the motor is mounted is arched down a little which causes the plastic lids not fully closing. The legs are a bit wobbly. All the above are minor issues, to be honest. The instruction could have been printed a bit better (unclear) using a bit better English. Despite the above, assembling was quite easy and quick. Before I used it I had to clean the grease from the inside of the axle base (why put grease where it would mix with honey?). The motor is very quiet, the speed range is quite adequate. Being able to vary the speed is very important, as with full frames the device vibrates too much at higher speeds (which is expected as their weights would never be exactly the same). After most of the honey flew out I was able to crank the rotations to almost max. with only little vibrations. Overall I am satisfied, it does the job and it is a good value for money, in my opinion as far as a hobbyist-beekeeper like myself is concerned.
