That machine works very well and as intended. What I don't like is the instructions. The only reason I knew I needed to install the vent for the gear box was after reading about it on another review. NO where in the instructions does it inform what to do with the vent cap. More instruction on how to use the guide plates would be helpful also. I found that lowering the guide plate so the wire has to bend up to go over the rollers helped keep it in the "V" so the knife wheel cuts the sheathing as needed. I was just about to ask for a return until I tried it one more time since I have a lot of wire to strip. I am glad I did and was able to figure out how to mount the guide.

bought this wire stripping machine a month ago and works perfect on #6 awg and bigger i had to make my own feed plate with a guide for the smaller gauges the best purchase i have made in a long time . its already paid for itself many times , i would recommend this quality product to anyone who strips a lot of conductors for copper

I had a ton of wire to strip. I was dreading having to do it by hand so I decided to give this a try. I was blown away with how easy it made things. Once I got the hang of where to place the cutting blade. I was flying through my chore I once dreaded. I will honestly be sad when I'm done because it has made it sorta fun. Where the blade assembly raises and lowers. This spot could use some lubrication. It binds up raising and lowering the cutting blade. I applied a dab of antiseize to each corner and it glides much better now. Overall, I am through the roof with how pleased I am with this machine.

Easy to use..will save you a ton of time ive mounted mine on a piece of plywood for easier carry.i recommend this item to any electrician or recycle enthusiast. Thanks Vevor

It took a little learning to dial it in. I do different size wire, one of the sizes I strip didn’t fit in the hole on the bracket so I had to use a drill and open the hole up a little bit but once you get the depth of the blade dialed in it’s great
