Great price, works wonderfully

As usual another great product at a very fair price from VEVOR. Customer service is also great for answering questions or concerns. Not my first VEVOR purchase nor will it be my last.

I did quite a bite of research and what was on the drill press was an open face motor which allowed dirt dobbers to build best inside the motor and eventually caused the motor to fail. This motor was a totally enclosed so eliminated that problem. The mount was adjustable to the press and the shaft and key way fit prefectiually. The motif runs quite and smooth and have used numerous times without any issues. The price was priced below the competition and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a replacement motor.

Overall this motor has been great. I’m happy with putting this on my bandsaw. I doubled the hp and it’s cutting aluminum and some steel great. The only issue I have was the knock out. I could not get them to come out and bent up the pecker head.

Been running my compressor for 8 months, good as motors that are twice its price.

Perfect replacement

Installed this 1.5HP motor on vented hood exhaust blower almost a month ago. So far it was running good. I wired this motor to 208/230V. First impression is very good. The motor looks like it a good build and quality motor. However, it was just a month. :) If this motor will run 3-4 months trouble free, I would be definitely considering Vevor motors for future jobs.

good value , worked as it should

This 2HP motor is a horse. Lots of torque. I am using it for an old belt drive milling machine. It's not really the best motor for this application. It is an agriculture and compressor type motor because it is not a high end, balanced motor. It has a bit of vibration to it. I mounted it like the previous 1HP motor and when it came on I thought a plane was taking off it caused such a roar to the whole machine. I double rubber mounted it and everything runs smoothly. Now, the problem is it starts so fast with all that torque that it is going to eventually tear out my rubber mounts. I have ordered a soft start controller to hopefully remedy that super fast start up. Other than those factors to consider it is a solid running motor at a great price. This motor has to be rubber mounted. I also switched over to a magnetic contactor as the switch on the machine is only rated for 10A and now I have a 20A motor. I get to use my old front switch to activate the contactor with less than half an amp so it will save the contacts in the switch from the high amperage arching this 2HP motor requires.
