Price was good. Way heavier than my old 3/4 hp motor. Can tell it is on my table saw. Knock outs in box to connect wires are not knockouts. Need to drill them out to wire it. Only used few times so can’t tell if it will last

Motor arrived quickly, and was very well packaged. I ordered the face mount version, and unfortunately it came with the foot mount also attached. In my application there wasn’t room for the foot mount and it was a big job removing it. Just to be clear no where in the literature did they say the foot mount would be eliminated. Cheers Chas

Great motor for shop equipment

So far good. Vevor replaced a motor that was over 50 yrs old, so expectations are high. I installed using the auxiliary electrical instructions which are different than the one on the motor. The auxiliary instructions bypass the thermal heat protection feature which I thought was curious but I will not be using in any type of continuous use operation or heavy duty didn't investigate it further. Checked out motor before installing to verify that runs both cw & ccw. I installed it in my drill press without any modification of base. I test ran it without issues.

Well I ordered this motor to replace mine on a table saw. I am somewhat disappointed that the motor is, physically larger, but seems to work flawlessly. By it being a larger motor the belt guard doesn't fit any more but I'll deal with it as the motor has enough power to drive my saw.

I purchased this 2hp 120/220 single phase electric motor to directly replace (rotational speed and h.p) the 3 phase 220/480 volt electric motor on one of my Engineer's Lathes that was built in the 1960's and formerly used in an industrial setting. I needed 120/220 volt single phase since my home-workshop does not have 220/480 volt 3 phase power. I have a number of 120/220 volt reversible "Drum" switches and did not want the additional expense of a VFD at this time so this was a sturdy and reliable motor to go with. The only down-side of this motor is the "Thermal Breaker" built into the motor's wiring box. The breaker is pretty flimsy and not up to the task so I replaced it with another that I had on hand which is more rugged and reliable - and also externally mounted. Doing this freed up space inside the electrical box for the wire nuts needed with the 5 wire electrical cord in order to make the hook-up to the 120/220 volt reversible drum switch. If the breaker was of better quality and outside the terminal box I would have rated this motor a 10.

Motor arrived several days after ordering, sooner than expected. Opened box and spun shaft, spun easy. Hooked up motor to an old drill press I’m working on. Motor has a slight vibration but not bad. Amps checked out good. Have only used a couple of times but seems to be worth the price for a motor that will only be used every once in a while.

We bought for our greenhouse per the contractor. When arrived it was the wrong size although the contractor said it was his fault. You also do not have the proper one to replace it. We have tried to contact you to return it with no avail. Everyone says your products are great, but not customer service.

This was our 6th motor we purchased from Vevor. We had nothing but great luck with the previous 5. All the first 5 were 1725 rpm motors. The sixth one was a 3450 rpm motor. The motor had a high pitch squeal to it and over heated and shut down after about 5 minutes. We double checked to make sure it was wired to the diagram on the motor. We reached out several times to try and figure out what the problem was. Customer service never replied. So that being said we will no longer purchase anything from them in the future.

what a waster motor not working
