Works well, I did wire it 220v due to current draw. Meets expectations and works well as a replacement on belt sander.

Working very well on my car lift. The motor was very simple to install I would definitely recommend this motor for projects around the house.

Used on 14" Harbor Freight Bandsaw
1725 RPM 1.5 HP
This motor being rated at twice what the saw came with has worked perfectly. I wired it to run on 240v to keep the current draw lower. The instructions for wiring 120v or 240v and reversing directions are fairly straightforward. This motor having a thermal overload is a big plus. The bolt pattern and shaft size were the same as the 0.75hp motor that I burnt up within a few hours of first running the saw. This motor was a bit larger and required a bit of modification to the enclosure for it to fit, but it has been a great upgrade. I would recommend this motor and will buy again from Vevor as long as they continue to keep their prices right.

Mr.
1725 RPM 1,0 HP
Just what I needed to replace the factory 1hp motor on my Central Pneumatics 16 speed floor drill press.
It is a little bit bigger and heavier than the original motor but it works great.👍🏻

Good motor for what it made for
1725 RPM 2,0 HP
This 2HP motor is a horse. Lots of torque. I am using it for an old belt drive milling machine. It's not really the best motor for this application. It is an agriculture and compressor type motor because it is not a high end, balanced motor. It has a bit of vibration to it. I mounted it like the previous 1HP motor and when it came on I thought a plane was taking off it caused such a roar to the whole machine. I double rubber mounted it and everything runs smoothly. Now, the problem is it starts so fast with all that torque that it is going to eventually tear out my rubber mounts. I have ordered a soft start controller to hopefully remedy that super fast start up. Other than those factors to consider it is a solid running motor at a great price. This motor has to be rubber mounted. I also switched over to a magnetic contactor as the switch on the machine is only rated for 10A and now I have a 20A motor. I get to use my old front switch to activate the contactor with less than half an amp so it will save the contacts in the switch from the high amperage arching this 2HP motor requires.

Customer service
1725 RPM 2,0 HP
The customer service was great. I bought a 2 HP motor and it was damaged when I got it out of the box. They sent me a replacement part and I was able to replace the bent part and now it works perfectly. The 4 stars is just because of the damaged product but I didn’t put that on vevor. I think that was the shipping company’s fault.

Replacing the 1960's with Modern capability
1725 RPM 2,0 HP
I purchased this 2hp 120/220 single phase electric motor to directly replace (rotational speed and h.p) the 3 phase 220/480 volt electric motor on one of my Engineer's Lathes that was built in the 1960's and formerly used in an industrial setting. I needed 120/220 volt single phase since my home-workshop does not have 220/480 volt 3 phase power. I have a number of 120/220 volt reversible "Drum" switches and did not want the additional expense of a VFD at this time so this was a sturdy and reliable motor to go with. The only down-side of this motor is the "Thermal Breaker" built into the motor's wiring box. The breaker is pretty flimsy and not up to the task so I replaced it with another that I had on hand which is more rugged and reliable - and also externally mounted. Doing this freed up space inside the electrical box for the wire nuts needed with the 5 wire electrical cord in order to make the hook-up to the 120/220 volt reversible drum switch.
If the breaker was of better quality and outside the terminal box I would have rated this motor a 10.

good motor
0.75HP
The motor runs good, but the only thing I am concerned with is that it seems to run hot to the touch. But I have not put a temperature reader on it to actually check it. Also the knock-outs on the wiring box wouldn't 'knock out'.

Sir

Seems good. The junction box tabs are fully welded and don't pop out for access. I had to drill a hole.

Great motor
1725 RPM 1.5 HP
Overall this motor has been great. I’m happy with putting this on my bandsaw. I doubled the hp and it’s cutting aluminum and some steel great.
The only issue I have was the knock out. I could not get them to come out and bent up the pecker head.
