I am not a full time plumber, more jack of all trades but I do a decent amount of it that I could justify finally getting a pro-press set up. I didn't want to break the bank on the "red" brand as I am not doing 100+ fittings a day. I read a bunch of reviews and watched some youtube vids on this press. It was positive enough that I decided to give it a shot. I was worried it was going to be an obvious cheap tool that I would wear out after a few jobs. I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the tool and the jaw set you get. solid well build and feels like it will stand up to moderate use. For the price point I cant complain. Yes the batteries seem a little on the cheap side with plastic that feels like it will prob crack. The charger gives that Temu vibe with its corny little song it chimes when you plug a battery in. But for 1200 savings I can deal with it and worse case it can us Makita batteries and you can even get an adapter for M18 or even Dewalt 20v and use what you have. Case is decent tool is solid, Jaws are legit and well made. I am calling it a win.

I have used it on many projects and has not let me down. Copper boiler piping, water lines, and some copper air lines. Not one leak.

Happy for the price. Pretty well built. Fits makita batteries which I like. Not a tool I use real often so for the money its great. Tools alittle bit heavy but so are the other brands. I bought the press for copper and such. I also bought the mega press heads. The mega press is for stainless and black iron. I had to reroute some gas pipe. It worked great. You have to think it through so you can get at it. I prepressed some sections which was helpful. Saved alot of time and frustration. Fittings aren't cheap but when you need to get it done. I also bought the vevor hand pipe threaded which save trips to the hardware store to cut custom pieces.

Bought this during a large homeowner renovation project to re-pipe my entire house + redo my hydronic baseboard heat For my timeline/the duration of the project this was cheaper than renting a Milwaukee/rigid from a local establishment Opted for the brushless motor even though I didn’t need the bigger jaws etc Absolutely flawless operation so far. Still on the first battery charge and have over 250 presses on the unit Would definitely buy again

I've now crimped 100 stainless steel fittings with this press. They're all leak-proof. I can absolutely recommend this press. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Press jaws from REMS or Rothenberger fit.
