It's installed, it's working. 4 stars because they didnt send any large gage wire to connect tot he existing breaker panel. Just meant I had to go to the store. 5 stars if they would have included 2' of #6 for the install.

outputs about 75-80amps. ran it 4 hours no overheating or overcharging. functions as advertised.

I bought this to charge my solar batteries when it's been cloudy for a few days. I charge from my generator to this into my batteries and it works great. I can keep my inverter from my batteries on to power my trailer and it's still charges my batteries very efficiently 75-82amps is what my power monitor was reading. Very happy with it.

I purchased this unit. It appears to be well made. My RV is in storage for the winter. It won’t be installed until next spring. The installation/owners manual says, “Do not leave unattended”. What does this mean ? I have to watch it whenever it is being used ? This is not practical ! Please advise !

HAVE NOT HAD THE CHANCE OR NEED TO USE IT YET SO THAT IS WHY I ONLY RATED IT 4 STARS. WILL UPDATE THE REVIEW SOON AS ITS PUT TO THE TEST. I DID HOWEVER PLUGGED IT IN AND THE OUTPUT IS 13.6 DC VOLTS SO I KNOW ITS WORKING! IT SEEMS TO BE WELL BUILT! A GREAT BARGAIN AT HALF PRICE!

Bought this at a good price when upgrading my RV battery to LiFePo4. I'm still experimenting with the mode setting. I will say this converter will power the slide out room without a battery connected that the factory converter would not due (It is a 40amp unit from 2000 without lithium mode.). The new battery has blue tooth for monitoring status which is extremely useful. Since I can see the smp draw trailing off when the battery approached 100% SOC. This converter has not gotten very warm with the fan going on only intermittently for a few seconds at a time. I love the ability to adjust the output voltage on the fixed output setting.

Using it for LiFePo battery and using the preset setting. With this setting the maximum charging current is only 41 Amps. To get the maximum rated 55A charging capacity, I would have to use the optional individual setting. Since the charging is not at max capacity for this battery type, I have opted only four stars. Otherwise no issues. Great value. Would buy again.
