I installed this unit as a replacement for a much older (2000) RV charger/converter. After a small wiring change, the unit works flawlessly for both float and equalize charge conditions for my lead acid battery. I have dealt with chargers that are supposed to be able to identify whether the battery is lithium ion or lead acid with no success. The manual battery type selector is a huge plus in my experience!

I originally bought this for my lithium upgrade in my 5th wheel, but decided to go with a name brand charger for my expensive battery. Sold this to my old man whos using it for lead acid batteries on his cargo trailer for winter camping. Works really good! we run the generator to keep the battery charged and start the vevor diesel heater and kill the generator for the night! Recharges batteries nice and quick

Was easy to install and replace old unit with. Very quiet seems to work great no issues after a season of camping.

I was looking for a charger that could do 80A and could fully support Lithium batteries with different charging cycles. This charger does exactly that and at a price much lower than the competition. I liked the orange colour too. Getting tools and spare fuses was nice too. I do not get the full 80A but pretty close and it definitely charges my two large batteries pretty quickly. It does not get hot as a big fan on the back which keeps it cool and not too noisy. I don't notice the noise inside the trailer. I wish the mode and voltage selector switches were on the back or front rather than the side as more convenient (for me at least). The last niggle is that the 12v cable screw downs don't do a great job of holding bare cable, and wish it had M8 or M10 battery terminal screws instead so I did not have to cut the terminals off the end of my cables. The max cable size is 4 gauge by the way.
