This TV lift was perfect for my application. Large bedroom with the only tv location was at the opposite end of the room. Built a cabinet for the foot of the bed. The lift was easy to install. It is quiet. Feels solidly built and has no problem lifting a cabinet lid and 55" tv. I did need to modify how I mounted the tv because I wanted to keep as low as possible when in the down position. So far a great product and a great price! Just a quick video of it starting to come up and going back down. Then a picture of how high it extends.

Very happy with this purchase. Very well built and easy to assemble. Works exactly as expected. Runs smooth and silent.

Built a cabinet to sit behind sofa and with press of button, flat screen rises for viewing. Completely satisfied.

This unit was perfect for a compact installation at the foot of the bed. The mechanism is robust enough to use a simple 2-shelf-board structure as shown. A nice shawl covers it when down, for a clean and compact look.

I have a friend that put one of these in his living room to hide the Television. I had to have one too. Mine is mounted to a panel that I built to hid an old alcove for a wood stove. It moves up and down smoothly, and, if it weren't for the resonant panel that I bolted it to, it would be silent. As it is, it is pretty quiet. I have no reservations about raising and lowering the TV after bedtime. Installation was pretty simple. Watch a couple of videos if you're not as familiar with these sorts of things. The lift itself is all steel and quite strong. I have no doubt it could lift a TV much bigger than our 47". viewing angle is good, but the lift actually makes the TV parallel to the wall, so if you're used to a screen that tilts slightly down, that may take some getting used to. All in all, it was worth the cost and effort. It makes our living room feel bigger when it's down.

Second one purchased. High quality, quiet opperation

This TV lift works smoothly and very quietly. It's solid and appears to be good quality. I would ding it slightly for a few obvious features that it's lacking. First, the remote should have buttons for 'go up to preset height' and 'go down to hidden position'. It has neither - only buttons that make it go continuously up or down as long as the button is held. Since the manual panel has presets *and* preset heights are what you really want to use, this is a surprising omission. It really makes the remote pointless - we just use the manual panel. Second, the units is *very* sensitive to floor imperfections under the base. Having screwable leveling feet would be a big help. It's really just a one-time installation headache, but it could be easily fixed.

This TV elevator works flawlessly, I mounted this one behind my bedroom drawer furniture in my 5th wheeler, when lowered it is hidden and safe when traveling or just want the tv out of the way as it cover one of the windows in the bedroom, It works perfectly by remote control or cable module, I use mostly the remote control and the cable attached motion control only when 8 can't find the remote, the TV elevator up/down unit is solid made and recommend it to my friends!

Solid item especially for the price, instructions are a little vague but not to bad to figure it out on your own
