It started off with removing all the plastic from around the cable. Not sure if there would be a better way here to produce less waste? Then I was a bit disappointed with the charger holder being in plastic as it stays outside and it is hard to say how long it will sustain harsh weather, we'll see. The cable is much heavier and thicker than the charger that came with the car, which is nice so hopefully this charger cable won't break internally like our other charger cable did. I was hoping to use the mobile app with the charger but it isn't available on Google Play and we have to sideload it, which is a big *NO* in terms of security. That explains my 4 for features because I won't be able to get these features I paid for. It took time to figure out how to get the charger working. I tried the various amperage settings a few times but it wouldn't work. I can't really explain what I did to get it to work but it is working reliably now. A few weeks ago, I had the warning red indicator flashing for no apparent reason. I unplugged the charger from the electrical outlet and plugged it back it and the light stopped flashing and the charger kept on charging. Again, we'll see how that fares over time but so far so good. Good price so far but how long it will work will define if it is really a good price or not.
