So far so good. A well built fan unit that I was able to incorporate into my new greenhouse. Very well made, quiet running, significantly changes the temperature in my greenhouse in minutes

I use this fan for evacuating hot air from ceiling in vaulted area. Works very well, and it's quiet at mid-speed. The product was simple to install, and the probe works well at controlling on/off time.

Great fan keeping my garage temp the same as the outside temp in Phoenix, AZ. I have batteries in my garage, and they don't like being too hot. I think it will also help to keep the rooms above the garage cooler. I removed the inside grill of the upper vent and made a frame around it with 2*2. Also removed the flappers. The noise is very minimal. You can change the speed settings, but I keep it at high speed. I programmed the control so that whenever the temperature exceeds 90 degrees, the fan runs automatically. Easy installation

It isn't much in the way of Variable Speed. It starts fast when first turned on, but any significant change to regulate it slows it down, and it essentially operates at one slower speed when the dial is turned. This is fine for what mine is intended for and will not be an issue. My intended use is as an exhaust fan for an emergency generator enclosure during a power outage. The generator itself will be the power source, and it will only be run when needed, so I didn't need an outlandishly priced fan for this. The only issue I have with it is that bugs can enter from the outside through the louvres. We have a lot of undesirable insects that like to ruin electrical equipment when they get a chance, like mud dauber wasps or yellow jackets. The only solution to this problem is to block their entry, and a stainless-steel screen is what I wanted to use because it has stopped them for years now in simple vents installed. This is where the problem came up. The fan blades extend out into the exterior shroud enclosure that surrounds them. There is no room to allow a screen to be inserted between the shroud and the fan motor and blades without the blades hitting the screening. To me, this is manufacturing oversight for something like this, whether used in an attic, garage, shop, or generator enclosure, in my case. Perhaps they will read/see this and include it in their future builds. My only solution was to disassemble/remove the wire cage surrounding the blades, which also contains the motor that runs it, and raise it off the exterior louvred portion enough so that the blades would not touch the screen (pictures included here show the interim fix without the screen being trimmed after testing the feasibility of this). Basically, I put in a stacked set of nuts larger than the bolts that attach the fan cage to the exterior, but I also had to replace the short bolts with longer M4 bolts that would reach the threads of the exterior. I could have used a coupler, but there aren't a

the fan itself is very nice. Louvres work smoothly, and fan has good power. Was easy to mount. Took away a star because the control panel is very difficult to use. Instructions in the manual are crappy and unclear. The digital face is impossible to see when it's daylight (very bad for a greenhouse). We have resorted to just manually turning it off and on. Tried finding some you tube videos on setting it but unsuccessful so far.

Purchase this fan to help with airflow in my 8 x 16 greenhouse. It did exactly what I wanted. Keeps the interior much cooler in the summer sun. I was hitting 128 degrees in there and now it stays pretty much a few degrees above ambient temps once it's on. Have it set to go on above 90 degrees. It's powered by a small solar battery and panels I have set up nearby. Only pulls 45-ish watts on medium speed.

Plan to update with a setup because the instructions are actually kind of iffy but this is a really nice exhaust fan for the price. I put one in each of my rental house basements and now plan to find one to replace my own broken attic fan. So far I've bought a few vevor items and I'm very surprised at the good quality.
