Bought this charger reffered by someone, no regrets. Cheap and quality very good. Can even connect to wifi

I first bought one of these to charge my car at 110V, because my 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV LE (used, not new) did not come with a charging cable. This VEVOR cable charged the car at 7.1A, requiring about 14 hours for a full charge. But I then had an electrician install a 240V outlet in my garage, directly below the circuit panel. This VEVOR cable now charges at 240V and 14.2A, fully charging my car in about 3.5 hours. I like the ability to monitor the charging cable via WiFi and the SmartLife app. (I had already installed the SmartLife app for a set of 'smart' light bulbs.) I have now bought a second VEVOR cable, as a spare and to carry in the car--just in case.

This charger is very good. Easy to install and portable when necessary. Only one complaint. The application is limited. You can not see percentage of charge. You have to guess when car is charged to 80%(my preference). Other than that, it works like a charm.

Wow less than 48 hrs at the door and post man handed to me. Check contents and seems in good shape will plug it in next week for install. This company has there act together not like some other foreign companies. Upgraded the E.V. charger at a great price will let u know how the install goes....

Per NEC 625, chargers functioning at Level 1(110v) should assume they are plugged into a 15A breaker/wiring and only pull 12A for long term usage. This charger pulls 16A, which is fantastic if you have a 20A circuit for your garage but is dangerous for normal 15A circuits. Most likely you’ll trip the breaker, but it is also possible that you will overheat the in-wall wiring or outlet and start a fire. When I try to share YouTube videos explaining that, I get the message “Please enter the correct YouTube link“; I hope Vevor’s electrical engineers are more skilled than their web engineers.

Works great! Half the price of public or dealership charging.

Shape of prongs limit 240 plugs that can be used. Providing adapter would be useful. Otherwise I really lathe product.

The overall quality of the product and materials used is as good if not better than the more expensive brands. The charger comes complete with all the necessary mounting hardware, cord hanger, holder and a soft carrying case for road trips. The customer service is excellent and working hard to ensure you are satisfied with the product. This ev charger could be a five stars with a small improvement by giving the option of turning ON automatically when connected to the vehicle and remaining energized when the battery is charged. I have this issue where it’s not turning on automatically when connected to my EV. Unlike the other brands, I have to turn it on manually every time. The fact it is shutting off after the battery is charged is my main problem and it is causing me issues where my battery starts to drain during cold weather or during the pre-conditioning instead of using the household electricity while plugged in, which will reduce your driving range. I would recommend it more for a PHEV than for a full EV.
