The bearings come ungreased . They need to be greased, which is no big deal but the back seal is already installed.I took the seal out and ended had to buy a new one.

Come with bearings and seals installed which will mean pulling seals to pack the bearings with grease and getting new seals. You will need 8x 7/16 -20 nuts and locking washers if you don't have them already from old brakes. Do not come with cotter pins either and you should not reuse !!

Great product. Everything came assembled including the races already pressed in. Came with new bearings as well. The packaging needs a little help though. One of my dust caps was bent up so I couldn't use it. That's a cheap fix. I would buy this product again.

Ordered two pairs of these for an aluminum tandem axle float. They go on well, everything fits as it should, wiring is copper and good quality, not the brittle casing you find on a lot of Chinese electronics. Make sure you keep your four nuts and lock washers from the original backer plate as these don't come with them. I'm thankful I didn't throw my originals out, I think these should absolutely come with them as my old ones were getting rusty and you never know if the thread and pitch will be the same, but luckily they did fit. Its strange to not have an adjustment hole on the front of the drum but they supposedly will self adjust, time will tell but in all honesty I'm use to replacing brakes every 2-3 years on trailers and at this price it's not that bad. Might actually buy a couple sets to have on hand at this price. Get some good assembly grease to grease the stub before putting on the drum with the bearings and you'll be good to go. Only reason for 4 star is because the backer plate nuts and washers should be included.

All good but having the seals press in before the bearings get packed is a bad thing having to remove the seals pack bearing the get new ones

These drums and brake units were an excellent fit, well-made and easy to assemble. They were exactly what I wanted and I assembled them on my trailer and greased them and it didn’t take long at all. Shipping: this whole order sat at the warehouse for six days before it got to the shipper and then it was seven days with the shipping company and I only live 200 miles away from the warehouse. I could’ve walked down there and got them faster than it took them to get it to me, my trailer was laid up for 10 days more than I expected. When the shipment got to me, the box looked like a bag. Parts were all over the place and the grease caps were bent. I couldn’t take a chance on getting replacement caps if it took 13 days to get my parts in the first place. So I had to re-shape the grease caps and make do with what I had. Vevor says that they package really well but I would beg to differ. Two weeks later I’m very pleased with the outcome. It’s just too bad that it took so long to get them.

Brakes fit perfect, size fit, the only thing is the automatic adjustment seem a bit loose but other wise seem to work .great price for what you get !

Have not got much use on this kit yet, but one thing I can say that I’m not happy about is they do not include the 7/16t nuts to mount the backing plate to the axle. Also, everything comes preassembled with no grease, so you have to remove the seal from the back of the hub and in the process destroy the seal in order to get the bearings out to properly pack them with grease and then buy new seals to replace and reassemble.

Everything you need however it comes fully assembled and bearings are not greased so you will need new seals regardless. Also you will need 7/16x20 nuts to fasten to bracket. Also the first shipment didn’t make it however they were quick to get another order out.
