The inner bearings and seals are pre-installed with no grease. So you have to remove the bearing and seal before installing. Had to buy new bearings and seals due to damaging when removing. Need to ship them uninstalled.

They look great. The problem is that a drum in the kit is missing.

Easy to install and look like they are good quality. My biggest concern is that even after breaking them in they still have very poor stopping. I had the original dexter brakes set at 5.5 out of 10 on the truck controller and the vevor brakes are maxed out at 10 and still doesn't stop the camper very well.

Three stars because 3 of the 4 are holding up well but one of the self adjusting brake cables came off the top bolt and the lever on the bottom cut into my drum so I had to replace the entire unit within 300 miles and that was done by roadside so expensive is an understatement

I got my new trailer brakes kit and the rear seal and bearing was installed and there was a lot of metal small shaving all over I was not happy with this kit fair price but you will need to remove rear seal by damaging it have to buy new one and getting the all metal shavings out to be safe or u will have to buy all new kits I am not happy with vevor for this one and there phone it not working to talk to I think this is what they want to email to take more time up to get you out of return time window its all I am asking in refund or 3/4 of my money back I should not have to fix new brakes kits

Both hubs came with damage, and improper assembly the shoe on one had a significant bend the metal pad, which while shouldn't keep it from operating could cause that lower pad corner to have less contact... The other one the star adjuster was assembled wrong, not attached to one side and tucked under the spring at a bad angle... it was a pain to get it back in place... I would have returned them but I just couldn't wait for replacements, so I took my own time and effort to make them functional...for a less experienced person who's not familiar with how these work they might get bolted on as is and not work properly at a bad time... I'd go with a different brand myself next time, brakes aren't a product to have poor quality controll, whoever put the ok sticker on them was asleap at the wheel

These are hardly "hassle free" installation. This kit does not come with the hardware to mount the backing plate to the axel. I had to go out on a weekend and try to source 8 7/16-20 nuts. I would call this a hassle. If youre not going to include certain critical hardware to a complete new assembly, say so.

Shipping was faster then what was listed. Parts looked great but edges are super sharp so watch when you handle during install. Even after setting the brakes and burnishing them they are still very weak. even at max gain. I wouldn't use these on a heavy duty trailer but ok for a light duty trailer.

brakes and backing plate were ok the magnets are not good causing bad braking even running electric up at 10 ordered two sets had issues with both trailers good thing only use a couple times a year going to change magnets out

I bought these for an older camper without a zerk fitting on the axle. While reading the reviews I learned that Vevor ships them with the inner bearing and grease seal installed but without any grease. Later reviews said that Vevor had fixed that issue and the bearings and seals came in the package uninstalled. When I got the package and opened them, the inner bearing were installed with the grease fitting already installed. I had to destroy 4 brand new grease seals and order new ones to install them. There are many complaints about this and Vevor should have gotten this fixed by now! Do better!
