One of the brake shoes had damage and I reached out to CS but have heard nothing back. So, to me bad CS means bad product. If CS would have responded so there was a resolution on the damaged brake pad, I would have given everything a 5. I have already sent multiple photos

I bought these for my travel trailer to replace the original brakes that were about wore out. They appear to be good quality and are very easy to replace the old ones without having to buy and replace each component individually. The only complaint I have is I had good stopping with brake gain set at 5 out of 10 with old brakes and now I have gain maxed out at 10 and still don't have great braking. All four brakes are working and I manually adjusted to slight drag when installing. I just pulled 70 miles and thought it would improve as they wear in. So far no luck but hopefully will improve with time.

Very good pricing. Looks to be of good quality. The only problem I had was the grease seals were the wrong size, so I have to guy buy extra seals. Not the end of the world but it would be nice if they included bearing and grease seal sizes in the info

Seem to be good quality. Inner bearings are not greased and come pre-installed, so you will need to pull and replace seal to pack bearings Not sure why they would come pre-installed without grease. Why not just ship it without bearings installed so we're not having to go out and buy new seals.

This kit does not include the fastening nuts, a new cotter pin and worst of all the rear bearing is installed with the rear seal pressed into place. In order to properly grease the rear bearing the rear seal needs to be removed and this will damage the rear seal so you will then need to purchase new rear seals. Shipping these without the rear seal installed would fix this issue.

I was especially impressed with the quality of the equipment and the fact that the brake plates were already assembled. However, the instructions were less than worthless. Since the inner bearing is already installed and held in place with a grease seal, this presented a problem. On older axels such as mine, the spindle is not fitted with a zerk, and grease cannot be pumped into the inner bearing. I have been packing wheel bearings for over 60 years, but there is no way to adequately grease the inner bearing while it is inside the drum. Fortunately, I have a hydraulic press in my garage, which was necessary to remove the bearing and seal so the bearing could be packed. Also, if one is inexperienced with trailer brakes, it is possible to install them incorrectly. The backing plates are marked for right and left, ut which, to your thinking, is the right and left side of the trailer. Even if one figures this out, it is still possible to install the break plate incorrectly. A picture of a correctly installed brake backing plate would help.

Product seemed good enough, but was poorly packed and destroyed in shipping. The magnet was cracked, and brakes were mostly blown apart as the springs and auto tensioners were loose in the box. It took a few weeks and several e-mails back and forth to get a refund. A more secure box, better padding and more than a thin piece of foam between units might have resulted in a 5 star review. The customer service process was slow and tedious with at least 24-48 hours between each communication, needing to contact the technical department, receive low ball offers, and delay after delay. I had the initial product in in a few days, but weeks to resolve the damaged product.
